Why don't you have 24-hour access?

Access hours are 6 am to 10 pm daily. Only tenants and management are allowed in the facilities storage area. By limiting the hours for tenant access it increases the security of this facility. Tenants have to enter the gate to gain access to their personal unit. Each tenant has their own unique pass code.

What is Climate Control?

43rd Street Self Storage has units available that are constantly kept at a comfortable temperature . This is a must for items that are sensitive to heat, cold or humidity.

Is there pest control?

Yes. 43rd Street Self Storage realizes that pests will often find their way even into the cleanest places. A monthly preventive pest control is applied to the outside of the units.

Are there discounts available?

Yes. 43rd Street Self Storage gives discounts for long term storage. Please call for the discount rates and specials.

What sizes are available?

There are over 233 storage units available for rent. They range in sizes 5x5 to 12.5x50.

I don't know what size I would need. Can you help me?

Yes. The management at 43rd Street Self Storage will work with you to determine the right size. Our Size estimator can help. We will be glad to help you determine what size you need.

What payment options do you offer?

We except the major credit cards and cash. Automatic payment from credit cards can be arranged to make payment for your storage easier.

Do you sell moving supplies?

Yes. We sell boxes of all sizes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap and tape to help you organize your storage space more efficiently.

Do you have carts to carry my items with?

Yes. There are carts and dollies you may pickup one up from the office.

What is the minimum time that I can store for?

There is no minimum storage time but the minimum rental period is 1 month.

What kind of documentation do I need to rent a unit?

A valid driver's license or state ID.

Do you have your own movers?

Although we do not supply moving services we are affiliated with respected moving companies who are familiar with our facility.

How long will it take to complete my transaction on move-in day?

The entire move-in process should take less than 15 minutes. Please keep in mind that this time could vary depending on whether there are other customers ahead of you when you arrive. Mornings are usually the slowest period of the day while afternoons are busier.

What are your hours of operations?

Office hours are: Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM Sat 9AM-4PM

Do I need insurance?

You may carry your own insurance (check your homeowner's or renter's policy to see if you are already covered) or apply for insurance coverage from a company that specializes in self-storage insurance. We can provide new tenants with a brochure.

Can I pay for my unit over the telephone?

You will need to visit the facility to lease your unit and make the initial payment. After that, you may call to make payments via credit card or check card. You will need to complete a credit card authorize charge form.
